Watercolor sketching is a way to experience the world around you. Want to record your travels, record the flowers or veggies growing in your garden, or just improve your observational skills. Join me for a day of sketching and painting. We will spend some time in the studio drawing various objects including miniature buildings and then we will move outdoors and sketch what we see. I will give you tips and techniques to ease your journey of translating what you see outdoors and recording it on your journal pages.
I will have several different types of supplies to try out in the class and some of them will be for sale.
Supplies I will have for sale include:
Permanent Marker - acid free and with permanent ink (no Sharpies allowed)
Mechanical pencil and eraser
Watercolor paint sets
Waterbrushes
A variety of journals
You will need to bring - paper towels, water container (yogurt carton size - no glass please) and a folding chair if you have one.
If you already have these items then bring what you have and we can assess when you get in class.
It should be a fun day sketching and painting in our journals.
Room will be limited so sign up as soon as possible. Contact me at csexton19@gmail.com of your interest in taking the class.
